Located in the formal park behind the main branch of the NY Public Library, Bryant Park Grill`s elegant dining room and New American cuisine echo surrounding nature. Start with Wellfleet oysters, cold Maine crab meat salad, or confit of duck burritos. Main course selections include halibut with blood orange sauce, red snapper in fennel broth with saffron, New York strip steak, a Joe`s special (spinach, ground sirloin, mushrooms, and scrambled eggs), and grilled free range chicken with great fries. Warmer weather brings al fresco dining to the garden and rooftop terrace, as well as a huge bar scene for professionals.
If you go to Bryant Park Grill, you`ll find a place that cooks up new American dishes. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20, and visitors dress casual, but fashionable.
More Reasons to Go: When weather permits, enjoy outdoor seating.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a Sunday brunch for $15.00 per person.
Details to Note: Reservations are required. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover
