Years before the onslaught of Vietnamese noodle shops, Cafe Hue introduced Seattle to the more delicate aspects of Vietnamese cuisine. Clearly showing its French influence (the restaurant also calls itself a patisserie), Cafe Hue`s atmosphere is simple and attractive. Get the full experience with the escargot appetizer with pork and ginger stuffed in the shell and then steamed. Entree highlights include crab claws with ground shrimp and pork, roasted quail, and roasted halibut. The fine French pastries are made on the premises.
This place serves Vietnamese food. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $12 to $20, and you`ll be appropriate if dressed casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Notable Mention: Being a good value for your dollar.
Details to Note: Reservations are necessary for groups. Carryout is available. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly. Children are welcome.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard and Visa
