Hidden away in a nondescript strip mall, Tommyu Tagashira`s place is a haven for homesick Japanese travelers. The zen simplicity of the decor is countered by some of the freshest and most unusual sushi in town. Tommy makes every customer feel welcome and prides himself on accommodating special requests. For the full experience, try his Mexican roll, which is "super hot" tuna and salmon, or the Philadelphia roll, cream cheese, smoked salmon and cucumber. The fresh clams steamed in sake are also a hit.
