The oversized liquor bottles and retro bar make this hotspot a shrine to the highball. The menu, written out on chalkboards, is nice too, with a huge C`sar salad topped with grilled chicken, a grilled portobello and smoked mozzarella sandwich, a Philly cheese steak sandwich, fine fish stew, pot roast and roasted monkfish. Smoking is allowed up front and in the no-smoking back room the walls are chock-full of thrift shop nudes. At brunch there are baskets of homemade breads and muffins and the $8.95 entrees come with a Bloody Mary or a mimosa.
