Land on this ultra-cool planet for Continental-Latin cuisine, which stays open until 4 a.m. to accommodate club-crawlers. The walls are whimsically painted with objects floating on a blue-cloud background, the ceiling is high, and so is the decibel level. Chef Gabriel Medeci turns out tasty empanadas, a salad of watercress, hearts of palm, corn and onions, and a grilled shrimp brochette for starters. The vaunted main courses are sautTed salmon with butternut squash purTe and red pepper sauce, Argentine-style breaded veal, and rack of lamb with red wine shallot sauce. Upstairs is a lounge for private drinks or private parties.
You`ll find that Caffe Novecento is a leisure café that concentrates on an Argentinean menu. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $12 to $20.
