This 24-hour spot, brought to you by the owners of French Roast and Steak Frites, is styled after a Lyonnaise bouchon. French doors open into a relaxed dining room lined with mahogany-colored banquettes. The wide bar features a nice selection of French wines and country ales. Chef Thierry Haxaire prepares everything from "le burger" to sauteed breast of duck with tomato chutney, covering traditional fare like onion soup, croque monsieur, and tripe with tomato sauce along the way. A casual, newspaper-reading crowd is present morning, noon, and night.
