Around seven every evening, a line forms outside Mifune, located near the Kabuki Cinema. These people know where to get good Japanese food at very good prices. Don`t let the somewhat cold greeting at the door turn you away; the food is worth it and the turnover of diners is fast, so normally you don`t have to wait very long. Try any of the tempuras with the wonderful miso soup. If you`re hungry, the generous specials, which include sushi, soup, salad, and tempura, are a bargain at $14.
Stop in Mifune for a family restaurant that serves patrons Japanese meals. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12.
