Park Avenue Cafe is an open, classic and contemporary shrine to innovative American cuisine. Trademark dishes include a melding of pastrami salmon, Moroccan salmon and smoked salmon in a corn blini, roasted artichoke and snail strudel, a pan-roasted pork chop with garlicky clams and pea shoots, grilled lobster steak with curried shoestring potatoes, mustard-crusted tuna teriyaki, and a steamed vegetable torte that`s molded like a layer cake. Don`t miss Dan Budd`s "Opera in the Park" dessert creation: an edible chocolate park bench with a lamppost made of a chocolate stick, topped by a white chocolate truffle globe.
