Four of us tried to go to Harvest last night (02/22/03) for dinner. We had a terrible experience. It was unfortunate enough when the host, an older man with a short fuse, would not honor the phone reservation made earlier that evening when we were told that the wait would be no more than 30 minutes. But the rudeness he exhibited was reprehensible. He was condescending in his tone and manner. He ignored one of the gentlemen in our party and huffed off when trying to reason with him. Providing friendly service in an establishment catering to the public is essential to good business. I am afraid that we will never have the chance to experience the food at Harvest due to the attitude of the host.
