I enjoyed eating at this restaurant on previous occasions, but after the experience I had there today, I will never return. I came to Elephant Walk on Beacon Street for lunch today. While consuming their `famous` spring rolls, I saw a disgusting bug (looked like a small millipede or centerpede, or whatever they are called) crawl out of something on my plate. It crawled across my plate and onto the table. This is the most disgusting dining experience I've ever had! I called the attention of a waitress, who simply squashed the creature right on my table and left, without even cleaning the table of “bug guts” afterwards. Needless to say, I lost my appetite, cancelled the rest of my order and left. I will never be back. First of all, one does not expect a restaurant of this caliber to have bugs in their food! And, on top of that, the disgusting way the waitress handled this is inexcusable. If this is how she handled such a problem right in front of me and the other patrons, I shudder to think what kind of issues they have in the kitchen, and how those issues are handled (away from patrons' eyes). I don't recommend you eat there.
