We were unhappy with our experience at Aqua. The service was slow, and not very helpful. We had to ask to have our waters refilled more than once.We called far ahead and requested a romantic, private table for our anniversary dinner. We got a noisy table in the front window.
We had a long wait between sitting and seeing a waiter and between each course. He was attentive and kind, but I guessed that because we didn't order a bottle of wine we weren't very interesting customers.
The menu was not laid out very well for anyone not used to the format. We were there for our special occasion and yet felt we were doing them a favor.
After we paid our bill (200) and got up to leave, the waiter mentioned he was bringing us a champagne toast for our anniversary. We were just too tired at that point. I sure wish they had mentioned it to us before we got our coats. We won't be going back.
