Agree! I’ve come to the conclusion that fine restaurants like fine wine provide a little increment in quality for a geometric increase in price. For $10 at a Thai restaurant on 49th Street you’d get tasty food. For $76 at Gramercy Tavern you get mildly tasty food in two courses, plus dessert. If it cost $25 it would be a pretty good deal. There was nothing in the taste or service or décor that a reasonable person would say was worth the extra $50.- Is follow up to post by amm.email ...
Overpriced, overhyped.
Micro portions, we actually
giggled at the offerings.
$500 for 4 people and we left
