Yesterday my daughter and her boyfriend took me to Sarabeth's for breakfast. I was terribly disappointed. She ordered eggs benedict, her boyfriend ordered an omelet and I ordered the potato waffle. The benedict has a rather thick bread of some sort with a little bit of hollandaise laced with chives - not particular tasty. The omelet and was blah and my potato waffle was rubbery and undercooked with none of the crispness one would expect. The only really tasting thing was the applesauce that accompanied the waffle. I would not eat at this restaurant again. After waiting over one hour to be seated I expected better. One bright note: an acceptionally good waistress.
