Two of us had a superb meal at Aqua. We were seated in the window and found the service excellent and the noise level tolerable. We ordered off the 3 course prix fixe menu and all six plates were excellent. The fois gras pate was outstanding; the Comte cheese was satisfactory. My only observation was that my skate wing was overly salty, but the fish is served on a bed of Portobello mushroom in an slightly sweet sauce which balances the salt. I don't use salt at all normally so I may be too sensitive to it. My companion is a skilled cook and found the salt level to be fine.
