I just arrived in Hyde Park and have been to Medici's twice in the last week or so and both visits were superb. I had the garbage burger and the omelette lorraine as well as the chocolate mexicana. All were excellent. The vibe is very cool and the prices reasonable, especially compared to other places in Chicago. I had heard complaints about the service and wasn't expecting much, but both times my servers were courteous and prompt. Whatever issues they may have had in the past, I feel like they have addressed.
