Was a great restaurant before 1971 when they more than doubled the size of the restaurant. The quality & taste of the food went down considerably after they expanded. Pre 1971 there was always a line down the block of people waiting to get in even in the coldest of Boston days. On several visits over the years since they enlarged the place there were no lines and the place was generally empty. They quality and taste of the food suffered greatly. They used to serve fresh fish that was caught the same day and many of the patrons were fisherman during the day and students in the evening. That was no longer the case on my visits after 1971.
