This is a one-room restaurant in a strip mall in Egg Harbor Township. But the results are that of a much more elegant setting! Down a hallway you make a turn into a room filled with arched mirrors decorated beautifully with artificial greens and flowers. Italian music plays in the background as you are seated by someone who obviously likes their place of employment! There is a full line of liquid refreshment offered. The tables are set with linen covered with glass. Water glasses are quickly filled.
The menu is huge. Pasta with any sauce or topping imaginable! Veal, Chicken, Seafood any way you want. Even Pizza is offered. And a reasonable menu for children. Hot Garlic bread is brought to the table with tomato sauce for dipping. Dinners include choice of salad or soup.
We had the chicken escarole (escarole leaves too large for the cup made it difficult) and oven baked French onion which had cheese perfectly browned! Both homemade. For entrees: I had the Seafood Linda with shrimp, scallops and jumbo lump crabmeat over linguini with wonderful homemade marinara sauce (21.95). It was a masterpiece! Really nice sized shrimp and scallops and lots of fresh lump crabmeat. Sorry if everyone in the dining room heard my "yummmms"! My companion had the Veal Parmigiana with angel hair pasta with the same sauce (12.95). A great tender serving of veal (he swears the best he ever had)! Portions were large even for a big eater!
Please, save room for dessert: Homemade Cannolis! The filling of ricotta, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla mousse is inserted into the shell at the time of order, sprinkled at each end with mini chocolate chips and the plate dusted with confectioner's sugar and cinnamon (2.50). The BEST. This dining diva was very impressed and totally full!
