One of the first restaurants to move into the newly rehabbed Bucktown area, Club Lucky has remained popular for two, almost contradictory, reasons. The first is its traditional, family-style Italian fare. Diners return often to enjoy such down-to-earth favorites as chicken Vesuvio, grilled calamari, and the daily fresh antipasto plate. But equally responsible for the restaurant`s success is its retro-cool atmosphere. The cocktail lounge is a supremely nineties-style throwback to the forties, when martinis as good as the ones served here were common, and a cigarette or cigar was an indispensable fashion accessory.
Club Lucky is a family restaurant that serves patrons an Italian menu. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20.
