After 5 trips I've never been disappointed and continue to recommend Postrio. You seem to have some vendetta that is not based in fact! Is follow up to post by eli ... I had a pretty bad experience at Postrio. I would not recommend anyone going there. I am sure that I will never go there again. There was a special Prix Fixe Special. I chose to order something from their regular menu. I had an Ahi Tar tare as an appetizer and Lamb Shank for my main course. The ahi was not too fresh. Any Japanese restaurant with decent sashimi will out-do this dish. They sprinkled some sort of charcoal on the ahi. It made the dish bitter and was not very appealing. Next I had to wait for almost 30 minutes before my lamb shank came, while, my party had already finished their entrees. The lamb didn't come out to be that special. The meat was bland and the beans as a side were very bland as well. We asked the manager to come over and he was not very sorry for what happened. The service was poor.
