A cogently Japanese building with arched ornately styled corner highlights houses this sushi and sashimi salon on Beverly Boulevard. For over twenty years the twenty-four chair dining room has served it`s Asian island delicacies. The downtown Tokyo interior is made up of pendulant paper lamps and royal red satin window coverings. Cushioned wood chairs set around diminutive round tables and are partitioned with pacific coast paper screening creating personal dining spaces for patrons. The high caliber sushi is served up by Chef Shige Kudo six days a week to a mostly local following.
Visit Shibucho and you`ll get a place that focuses on Japanese dishes. Expect to pay over $20 per person.
