Owner Chau Tran`s cooking was so popular among her friends that she used to operate a tiny "restaurant" out of her home. In 1983, she opened her storefront space at the Southern tip of Downtown and east of Pioneer Square. Chau Tran usually has a helper, but the wait can be long, especially at lunch time. Nevertheless, the consensus is that the food is so delicious, and the prices so favorable, that it`s worth the wait.
