Throughout the year, high tea is served in the 12th floor lobby lounge of this most elegant hotel. The sophisticated room, decorated in tones of brown, gold, and peach, is filled with its little tables and couches. The large lobby fountain fills the room with soothing sounds and during December, a trio performs every afternoon, adding to the fine aural ambiance. Teas are served in Wedgewood china, while scones and pastries are served on a three tiered silver wrack. It`s lovely way to cosset yourself. During December, though, tea is only served on weekdays.
