Although the house specialty is an 18-ounce black angus steak served with potato colcanna, there is more to this menu than meat and potatoes. Chef Gary Adler serves filet-mignon, rack of lamb and red snapper encrusted with horseradish, maple walnuts, and macademia nuts. Salmon, seasoned with cajun spices, is served over toasted-pecan couscous, and whole wheat radiatore with duck is tossed in an orange-scented cream sauce. There is Irish charm in this long (and busy) bar that is decorated with kelly green carpeting, and glass-etchings of Broadway stars with Irish roots.
This eatery serves American food. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $12 to $20, and plan to fit the scene by dressing casual.
